A New Moon in Gemini takes place on Saturday or Sunday, depending on your time zone. This is usually an astrological event I’m looking forward to and I tend to feel the new energy the New Moon brings about a week before it happens. I love to look at the house, the area of life, this takes place for me and I like to set some new intentions. However, with this coming New Moon I’ve been feeling quite vague about it. The New Moon will make a square aspect with Neptune in Pisces. Which is an aspect that creates tension/friction. Neptune can cause confusion and delusion. It’s not the kind of energy we’d like to invite while setting new intentions during a New Moon. So definitely something to keep in mind when you’re inviting in the new, that you’re not forgetting to take of those rose-colored glasses.

A New Moon is about fresh starts, new beginnings, but in this case I would actually open up your mind (like a Gemini) and look at what you have NOW. Can you actually write down what you’re happy with right now? Is the thing you want to change, to renew, actually something that will serve you well in the future? Or is it just wishful thinking? Use the heightened intuition the New Moon brings for questions like these and you’ll probably gain a lot more clarity knowing Neptune is in the mix this weekend.
